Premise of the workshop

The goals of this consultation workshop are:

1. To test preliminary results of the OpenAIRE legal and sustainability studies (in progress).
2. To get input from OpenAIRE partners, NOADs, EC and other experts with experience of making OA service/infrastructures sustainable.

Focus areas of the event will include:

• Exploration of available OA business models
• Definition of the components of an OA infrastructure
• How to sustain OA services within a permanent infrastructure
• What are the legal parameters for re-use of research data
• Options for licensing research data

This workshop is aimed at: policy and decision makers, librarians, scientists who re-use data, data mining practitioners, EC officers, ICT delegates, OpenAIRE NOADs
